James Henry                   

 

James Henry is a qualified accountant with over twenty years experience in the international financial and commodity derivatives markets. His responsibilities have included Finance, Compliance, Operations, Customer Services, Sales & Marketing roles, working in both London and Sydney.  He has held senior positions at LIFFE, the London Clearing House Ltd and Cargill Investor Services.

 

James has in depth knowledge and experience of exchange traded financial and commodity futures and options markets and the related global clearing, settlement, systems and operational risk issues.

 

James has several years’ experience of designing and delivering courses to investment banking and fund management clients both in the UK and overseas, in particular with regard to exchange traded and OTC derivative products, derivative operations, hedge funds, fund administration and operational risks. Over the last 18 months he has also run numerous international seminars on the newly developed property derivatives (swaps) market.

 

James’s training style is both practical and interactive. He combines informative presentation with practical exercises and workshop discussions, encouraging delegates to ask questions and participate fully the seminars. James is enthusiastic about his subjects and responsive to attendee participation.

 

James lives in England and is married with three children.

 

David Loader

 

David Loader has over twenty-five years experience in the financial services industry in the operations, settlement and administration of securities and derivatives. Prior to the establishment of his own training business in 1995, David was Director of Exchange Traded Derivatives at SBC Warburg in London, and later Operations Director where he gained considerable experience at senior management level.

 

David is an author of many financial titles; including a series of operations publications by Butterworth Heinemann Finance

He is also co-author of the Derivatives Operations workbook commissioned by the Securities Institute for their IAQ Programme.

 

David is an experienced and popular trainer, with many years experience of designing and delivering courses to clients within the international financial services industry. David’s consultancy assignments for some major banking and institutional clients have focused on operations and operational risk management.
